Clove Plumbing is hiring a Service Plumbing Technician to serve residential customers in Gilroy and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate has experience running service calls independently, strong troubleshooting skills, and a friendly, professional approach. Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and water heaters.
• Run service calls independently and provide clear recommendations based on each customer’s needs.
• Present repair options, explain pricing, and obtain customer approval before beginning work.
• Communicate respectfully with customers and keep the office informed of job progress.
• Document each job with accurate notes, photos, estimates, and invoices.
• Follow safety procedures, protect customers’ homes, and clean the work area after each job.
• Keep the company van, tools, and materials organized and ready for service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Have at least two years of residential plumbing service experience, including independently running calls.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of common residential plumbing repairs.
• Communicate clearly and feel comfortable explaining service options to customers.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record suitable for company vehicle insurance.
• Use a smartphone and learn digital dispatching and invoicing software.
• Bring reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
• Speak English.
