Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, located in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse, Patient Care Supervisor.

Flexi, Rotating shifts

The S upervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility during their shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and staff efficiency. This position serves as the primary liaison between departments, providing leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The Supervisor is also tasked with coordinating patient flow, managing staffing levels, responding to emergencies, and addressing any operational issues that may arise throughout their shift.

Education

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) Or
  
• MSN (Preferred)
  

Certification/Licensure

• Registered nursing license (Required)
  
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
  
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire
  
• PALS required within 90 days of hire
  

Experience

• 2 Years of acute care RN experience(required)
  
• 1 Year of Nursing leadership experience (required)
  
• Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,854.40 - $153,649.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.

It is projected to cost about $200 million, up from the original estimate of $158 million, due to sharp spikes in costs for building materials and medical equipment.
