Continued growth has created an opportunity to further connect and scale the organization's marketing, ecommerce, customer data, and enterprise technology capabilities to improve operational effectiveness and enhance the customer experience. The Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CDTO) is a strategic executive leadership role responsible for aligning technology, digital platforms, ecommerce, marketing, data, and cybersecurity with business growth objectives. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role will drive modernization, scalability, process automation, customer experience enhancements, and enterprise-wide digital transformation while maintaining a stable and secure operating environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a multi-year technology and digital transformation strategy aligned with growth, customer experience, operational efficiency, and business scalability. Lead enterprise technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, systems integration, and vendor management initiatives. Oversee modernization and optimization of ERP, CRM, ecommerce, marketing technology, analytics, and customer engagement platforms. Build an integrated digital ecosystem that connects customer-facing channels, business systems, reporting platforms, and automation tools. Improve operational efficiency by reducing manual processes, enhancing workflows, strengthening data quality, and implementing scalable automation solutions. Establish practical AI and data strategies that improve customer insights, employee productivity, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. Provide executive leadership for Marketing and Ecommerce, ensuring alignment between customer experience, digital growth initiatives, sales enablement, and revenue objectives. Drive demand generation, lead management, customer engagement, website optimization, ecommerce performance, and digital marketing effectiveness. Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to prioritize investments, manage transformation initiatives, and deliver measurable business results. Lead, mentor, and develop teams across Technology, Marketing, and Ecommerce while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage strategic vendor relationships, technology budgets, contracts, and outsourced service providers to maximize value and performance. Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across technology, digital transformation, ecommerce, marketing, or related business functions. Proven success modernizing systems, automating processes, and driving enterprise transformation while maintaining operational stability. Strong expertise in enterprise applications, ERP, CRM, ecommerce platforms, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data strategy, systems integration, and analytics. Experience supporting B2B and/or government-focused organizations through digital growth, demand generation, customer engagement, and revenue alignment initiatives. Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, develop leaders, manage organizational change, and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into practical business solutions and measurable outcomes. Experience within distribution, government contracting, cooperative purchasing, public sector services, or related industries is preferred.
