Nursing Assistant In Training (NAIT)

What you'll do:
- Learn basic nursing and resident care skills
- Assist residents with daily activities under supervision
- Support nursing staff and observe quality care practices
- Uphold resident dignity, safety, and respect at all times
What we're looking for:
- Interest in becoming a CNA
- Willing to go to, and graduate from a CNA program
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
- Willingness to complete training and certification
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
No prior experience required. Paid training provided. Background check clearance required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Licenses/Certification:
- Within 120 days of employment, completes a state-approved nursing assistant training program & become certified.
Note: A Nursing Assistant enrolled in a nursing program may be compensated differently based upon the clinical education received.
Experience:
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
- Complete 16 hours of classroom education then complete skills checks for clinical areas for which job expectations include.
