Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a Dallas-based client to identify an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting across multiple entities. This role will oversee a team, manage the close process, and provide financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
Review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Manage and develop a team of accountants across multiple locations
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to leadership
Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred)
8+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with ERP systems (D365 or similar preferred)
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
