Operations Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a Dallas-based client to identify an Operations Accounting Manager to support manufacturing finance and cost accounting activities. This role will serve as a key business partner to operations, providing financial insights, managing cost accounting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes, including month-end close
- Analyze production costs, variances, and operational performance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost tracking
- Partner with operations leadership to drive efficiency and cost improvements
- Support internal controls, compliance, and audit processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including cost accounting or manufacturing finance
- Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems (QAD or similar preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Proven ability to manage teams and partner cross-functionally
