Accounting Manager

As Accounting Manager, you'll lead the General Ledger function, oversee financial reporting, mentor a high-performing accounting team, and partner closely with executive leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement. Location & Schedule Richardson, TX | Onsite Compensation & Schedule $115,000-$125,000 annually Full-time, Direct Hire Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Responsibilities Lead the General Ledger team and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Ensure accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, consolidations, and multicurrency accounting Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities Review financial statements, balance sheets, P&L reporting, and executive reporting packages Oversee tax support, sales tax filings, and internal control compliance Supervise Accounts Payable and customer billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness Identify process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen accounting controls Coach, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture Partner with executive leadership to communicate financial information and support business decisions Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA, Master's in Accounting, or CPA preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 4 years of leadership experience Experience leading General Ledger operations, financial close, and financial reporting Experience with consolidations and multicurrency accounting Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred Experience supporting external audits and maintaining strong internal controls Preferred Skills Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and emotional intelligence to work effectively with executives and cross-functional leaders Experience working in a privately held organization is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and build high-performing accounting teams Strong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills Ability to provide constructive feedback while fostering positive working relationships Benefits 15 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 2 personal days annually (prorated upon hire and available immediately) 401(k) with 3% company match after 30 days Cigna PPO and High Deductible Health Plan options $1,500 annual HSA employer contribution for employees enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan Performance-based bonuses and merit increases Strong work-life balance with occasional extended hours during month-end and year-end close #J-18808-Ljbffr
