Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a large, growing organization in the real estate industry that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to its corporate accounting team. This is a newly created individual contributor role with significant exposure to technical accounting, acquisitions, process improvement, and cross-functional projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from public accounting who wants to move into a highly visible corporate accounting role while helping build best-in-class accounting processes. Responsibilities Support the month-end close process across a multi-entity organization, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Research technical accounting matters and assist with accounting policy development and documentation. Participate in acquisition integrations, including purchase accounting, trial balance mapping, and ERP implementations. Perform financial analysis and support special projects focused on operational and accounting process improvements. Assist with external audits and annual financial reporting. Partner with finance, operations, and leadership teams on strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls. Qualifications Public accounting audit experience required. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting. Experience with multi-entity accounting environments preferred. Acquisition or purchase accounting exposure is a plus. Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience. Why Consider This Opportunity?
