Assistant Property Manager (Portland, OR) Real Property Management seeks an Assistant Property Manager to provide top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. The role demands leadership, trust-building with owners and tenants, support for the property management portfolio team, and application of tenancy laws and regulations. Responsibilities Provide clients with high-level customer service and management services. Demonstrate leadership and build trust with owners and tenants. Support the property management portfolio team. Apply knowledge of tenancy laws and regulations. Commit to implementing best practices. Continuously seek to improve skills and invest in professional development. Requirements State certification or full license. Technologically proficient. Basic accounting knowledge. Local area knowledge. Computer proficiency — Microsoft Office. Managing referrals across departments. Familiarity with Federal and Fair Housing laws. Familiarity with Residential Tenancies Act – ORS Chapter 90. Familiarity with Rent Control and Renter Relocation Requirements specific to Oregon and the City of Portland. Familiarity with Anti-Discrimination Act. Familiarity with Trade Practices and Fair Trading Acts. Personal Attributes Highly organized with excellent time management. Exceptional people skills with a customer‑service focus. Strong dispute resolution skills with a passion for positive outcomes. Proactive approach to systems and procedures.
