Senior Cyber Class Action Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Cyber Class Action Attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and is open to applicants from across the United States, with the possibility of reporting to other regional offices. Duties Defend privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions in state and federal courts nationwide. Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment. Manage strategy and timelines for multiple class action cases. Prepare and respond to written discovery, and take and defend depositions. Participate in mediations and draft settlement papers for court approval. Requirements Experience: 8+ years of complex litigation experience in state and federal courts. Class action litigation experience: required. Cybersecurity and data privacy background: preferred but not essential. Research and writing skills: excellent. Defending in data breach and other privacy class actions: a plus. Knowledge: working knowledge of state and federal rules of civil procedure. Education: JD from an accredited law school. Certifications: Bar admission in good standing. Skills Excellent oral communication skills. Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in multiple cases. Team player.
