Business Data Analyst

Role Business Data Analyst (SQL, Capital Markets & Trade Lifecycle) Location Irvine, CA. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with strong SQL skills and expertise in Capital Markets and the Trade Lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze data, gather requirements, and support trading and post‑trade operations. Required Skills 4+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst Strong hands‑on experience with SQL (complex queries, joins, CTEs, stored procedures). In‑depth knowledge of Capital Markets. Strong understanding of the Trade Lifecycle (Trade Capture, Confirmation, Settlement, Reconciliation). Experience gathering business requirements and writing BRDs/FRDs, data analysis, data mapping, and data validation. Familiarity with financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, or Derivatives. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, strong communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Jira and Confluence. Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing, and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus.
