Business Analyst

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst for a leading client in the insurance services industry. This person will work with stakeholders that develop & deliver insurance policies for clients consisting of financial institutions and real estate investors, and development teams. This individual will play a critical role in addressing a backlog of software enhancement requests, in addition to new project work with an emphasis on automating business processes & workflows, while acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams. The workload would include around 60-70% of time on business requirements, and 30% of time in reporting. The ideal candidate is a proactive, senior-level BA who can independently gather requirements, analyze complex processes, and document workflows with clarity. This position involves working across internal systems and API-driven platforms, supporting reporting initiatives, and driving improvements to both manual and automated processes. The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands‑on involvement in testing and validation, and the ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment undergoing team restructuring and new project ramp‑up. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements 3+ years of Business Analyst experience Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization Strong Excel skills (advanced use for analysis/reporting) Experience with SharePoint and/or Azure DevOps for backlog and ticket management Strong SQL development skills (querying, data analysis) Experience defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics Experience performing UAT or QA validation as a BA Proven ability to work independently Strong experience with requirement gathering and stakeholder interviewing Ability to document workflows and business processes (Visio and/or Lucidchart preferred) for process flow documentation clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and articulation abilities Industry experience preferred (insurance, financial, real estate, etc.) Exposure to proprietary/internal software environments Experience working with API-driven systems or integrations Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
