Role Overview

We are in search of a qualified and compassionate Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to join our team of committed imaging professionals delivering outstanding patient care. With cutting-edge ultrasound equipment at your fingertips, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, collaborate with a supportive cohort of clinicians, and provide solace to patients through reliable and timely imaging services.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures by clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Working in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Managing and maintaining imaging equipment efficiently, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining detailed patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Keeping abreast of advances in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices

Education Qualifications:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications:

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent entity
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging and patient positioning techniques
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Adept at working independently as well as collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
