Overview:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of equipment in a fast-paced carpentry and wood manufacturing warehouse . This position will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial woodworking machinery used for cutting, processing, and manufacturing wood products.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience maintaining or repairing industrial equipment, woodworking machinery, or production machines.

- Starting pay $23 hourly, DOE
- 4 Day workweek - 3 days off

What you'll do:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial woodworking and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with wood cutting machines, saws, conveyors, dust collection systems, and other production equipment .
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery to inspect, repair, or replace components.
• Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning machine parts.
• Inspect equipment for excessive wear, damage, loose components, and other potential problems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot dust collection systems and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance on air compressors, including bleeding and draining water.
• Inspect and maintain forklift battery equipment and coupling devices as needed.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts, and materials used.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:

• Woodworking Machinery - Miter/compound saws, CNC routers, Drill/boring machines, Jointers.
• CNC or Automated Machinery
• Conveyors
• Dust Collection Systems
• Air Compressors
• Automated material-handling equipment 

Skills and Experience:

Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have the ability and willingness to cross-train and support others
- Know safety procedures when using tools, including saws and basic equipment
- Have a strong customer-service mindset in supporting internal operations
- Spanish-English bilingual ability is a plus and supports team communication
