What We're Looking For:

• Master's degree in a related field
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience
• Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
• Demonstrated previous experience in school-based settings
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and meet all credentialing requirements
• Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills

Your Role:

• Assess students using standardized tools to determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop thorough, clear evaluation reports
• Collaborate with staff and families during multidisciplinary team meetings
• Travel between two district schools to manage assigned caseloads
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Serve a range of age groups, ensuring fair, equitable evaluations and support

This position is strictly on-site, with no virtual options available. The role provides a consistent 35-hour work week (seven-hour days), offering stability and routine across the school year.
