Details PCU/telemetry unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00 Patient ratio of 1:4 Cardiac telemetry patient population including COPD, CAD, CHF, AFib, and sepsis cases Utilizes Epic EMR system Performs skills such as starting IVs, chest tube management, cardiac drip management, and bedside cardioversion Requirements Active IL RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of PCU/telemetry nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Previous charge nurse experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Provide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response including rapid response/code team activation Navy scrubs required First time travelers accepted Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and will not be accepted Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler without taking a 6-month break before returning American Traveler Job ID P-748390.
