Solution Architect, Forward Deployed Architecture

Salary: $145,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 5 to 8 years of experience in solution architecture, technical or experience design, or applied AI advisory, including 1 to 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• We need someone who can translate ambiguous business challenges into designs that engineers can implement.
• We value strong writing and facilitation skills, with the ability to build credibility with executive stakeholders.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• For this healthcare role, we require the candidate to be based onshore in the US or Canada, with travel as needed.
• We prefer familiarity with RAG, agents, and evaluation well enough to design solutions around them.
• We prefer experience with process mapping and service design.
• We prefer domain expertise in healthcare or higher education.
• We prefer certifications such as AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CBAP (BABOK), or Claude Certified Architect - Foundations.
• We prefer comfort working in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities and uncertain problem statements.

• We run early conversations with the business to define the problem worth solving.
• We own the solution design and keep it updated as the work evolves.
• We translate requirements in both directions between the business and our engineers.
• We align with the Engagement Manager and engineers on what success looks like and how it will be measured before development begins.
• We work alongside engineers on the complex parts of the build that depend on the design.
• We maintain strong industry context so the solution stays relevant to the domain it serves.
