Product Manager, Bronchoscopes

The Product Manager, Bronchoscopes will lead the strategic and commercial management of a specialized medical device portfolio across its full product lifecycle. This role combines upstream product strategy, downstream commercialization, clinical engagement, and market development. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, sales teams, R&D, regulatory, operations, marketing, and other internal and external stakeholders. A key focus will be developing long-term portfolio strategies, supporting new product launches, and identifying opportunities to expand market adoption. You will also serve as a clinical and technical subject matter expert, helping teams and healthcare professionals understand product capabilities and clinical value. The position offers significant visibility and influence in a dynamic healthcare technology environment, with opportunities to shape innovation and future product development. \n

Accountabilities:

Lead and manage the bronchoscope and endobronchial ultrasound product portfolios, coordinating activities across internal teams and external stakeholders. Develop and execute 3–5 year strategic plans covering portfolio direction, commercialization, marketing, clinical initiatives, financial forecasting, and supply chain considerations. Assess market opportunities, competitive landscapes, product positioning, and potential strategic partnerships or complementary technologies. Manage product lifecycle activities from initial strategic assessment and pre-launch preparation through evaluation, launch, training, post-launch support, troubleshooting, and retirement. Partner with marketing, sales, clinical specialists, business development, field service, R&D, regulatory, and operations teams to drive product adoption and commercial performance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders through presentations, site visits, conferences, clinical evaluations, and ongoing product feedback. Support sales organizations through clinical demonstrations, tactical adoption plans, product expertise, and customer-facing activities. Serve as a subject matter expert on products, procedures, clinical applications, technology trends, competitive offerings, and related services. Lead future pipeline discussions and collaborate with global teams to identify product improvements, innovation opportunities, and best practices. Manage pulmonary-focused trade show participation, including objectives, booth and equipment requirements, workshops, partnerships, and event execution. Provide technical and clinical guidance to healthcare professionals and internal teams, communicating product functionality, clinical benefits, and potential solutions to technical questions. Lead product training covering operations, reprocessing, technology, disease states, clinical applications, and manufacturer requirements. Develop and oversee product evaluation protocols, including site selection, project execution, on-site evaluations, and reporting of results to global stakeholders. Develop strategies and materials that communicate the clinical and economic value of the technology, including clinical evidence and white paper initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biology, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least 7 years of experience in a marketing or product management capacity, such as product marketing, product management, or technical/product leadership. At least 5 years of medical device experience with a strong clinical background. Previous experience with endoscopes, pulmonology, or endobronchial ultrasound is preferred. Knowledge of general, thoracic, and/or pulmonology-related products and procedures is desirable. Familiarity with the US healthcare system and its market dynamics is preferred. Demonstrated experience leading new product training covering technology, disease states, clinical applications, and economic value. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Highly results-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working with a sense of urgency. Ability to manage priorities, identify issues early, and adapt to changing organizational and market needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences and work across multicultural environments. Proven ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and motivate others without direct authority. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a close team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities. Effective time management and the ability to manage multiple strategic and operational priorities. Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily domestically with some international travel, including evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable physical requirements, including standing, sitting, keyboard use, and lifting up to 50 pounds as required by the role.
