The Events Supervisor is directly responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations for the assigned shift. This supervisor assists the Manager on Duty in providing an experienced and trained staff during baseball season. Ensures customers are provided with the highest level of service on their shift. Assists the Manager on Duty in maintaining established revenue controls and accountability systems./ppEssential Responsibilities/pulliSchedules employees and ensures appropriate staffing levels per shift in accordance with budget./liliAssists the Manager on Duty in the supervision and evaluation of employee performance, including participation in coaching and discipline where applicable./liliProvides training and support to other hourly staff on procedures related to job responsibilities and may assist employees in their jobs as needed./liliSets standards for staff by appropriately modeling company policies and norms./liliCoordinates daily activities with his or her manager and transitions responsibilities between shifts./liliServes as the point person for all customer service inquiries, complaints, incident reports and claims for the shift./liliEnsures facility and employee appearance meets company standards on assigned shift./liliAudits cashier reports and implements all financial and accounting controls on assigned shift./liliMaintains and ensures the companys cash control policies./liliEnsures all employees have been adequately trained on security and safety processes and procedures./liliMonitor properties for safety and security./liliRemain vigilant for anything unusual or potentially threatening./liliRecognize potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner./liliRemain available to staff during shift for reports of suspicious activity, security threats and safety concerns and provide assistance and instruction. Report all incidents to the Manager on Duty and Employee Health and Safety/RISK Manager./liliParticipate in safety and security training within the market./li/ulpQualifications/Requirements/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED./liliComputer literate; proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel/liliProficient in basic math skills commensurate with calculating time and cash equivalents./li/ulpEligibility Requirements/pulliMust submit your application for employment through (internal external) to be considered for this position./liliMust have unrestricted authorization to work in US./liliMust have a valid drivers license in order to operate company or customer vehicles./liliMUST be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check./liliMust be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process./liliMust be willing to work out of and travel between the St. Louis locations on a regular basis./liliMust be able to maintain flexibility in work schedule in order to meet operational needs./liliMust be able to walk or move to assist customers in a timely manner; In some cases, must be able to travel up and down parking garage ramps in order to assist customers and garage issues./li/ulpDesired Characteristics/pulliAt least 1 year of experience supervising, coaching, and administering disciplinary actions and performance evaluations for non-exempt personnel./liliExcellent oral and written communication skills: conveys professionalism and competence effectively to superiors, peers, staff, customers, and landlords./liliExcellent time management and multi-tasking skills to succeed in fast-paced environment./liliStrong safety knowledge and awareness always using good judgment./li/ul/div
