The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

SHIFT: 7:00AM-3:30PM

Main Duties:

Reads engineering and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, packing and conveying systems, and production machines and equipment. Investigates and troubleshoots equipment problems to determine the source and nature of difficulty.

Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines parts to detect imperfections. Inspects used parts to determine dimensional changes and serviceability.

Installs new, or adjusts, repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts in equipment or to structural components.

Dismantles, removes, or relocates machinery and equipment as determined by supervision. Constructs foundation for machines. Assembles and installs production and auxiliary equipment such as shafting, piping, and conveyor systems. Aligns and fastens equipment to foundation or other structure.

Performs general preventive maintenance on machines and equipment according to planned maintenance schedules.

Starts equipment and machines to test their performance.

Performs general facility repair work, and building and grounds maintenance as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

Good mechanical aptitude.

Good leadership record.

Related maintenance experience. xkmhxrz

Completion of Maintenance Millwright Apprenticeship or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34.97 per hour
