AccountantLocation: El Segundo, CA Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months contract, with potential for full-time conversion)Minimum Qualifications:U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required).Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.Experience drafting accounting memos and financial documentation.Proven experience collaborating with auditors and supporting audit processes.CPA qualification or public accounting experience is highly desired (Big 4 experience preferred).Responsibilities:Prepare and draft accounting memos, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Manage audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors.Maintain and oversee financial records and reporting in accordance with accounting standards.Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting activities.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and reporting needs.Preferred Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in accounting software and tools.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
