Technical Product Manager

Hybrid 4 days onsite in New York, NY

Our client seeks two Technical Product Managers to drive outcomes within a high-volume retail fintech environment. One role will lead an individual pod of work. The other will provide technical oversight across a retail subdomain. Both roles will collaborate with compliance stakeholders, including oversight with Joe, to ensure scalable architecture, performance reporting, and adherence to regulatory expectations. Successful candidates will understand how large consumer mobile applications are architected and delivered across iOS and Android, and will bring experience integrating backend systems with mobile app stores and deployment pipelines. Brokerage or wealth product experience is preferred.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $80.00 to $89.00/hr. w2

• Own a product pod or provide technical product oversight for a retail-focused fintech subspace.
• Define and communicate product roadmaps and visual narratives for high-volume consumer experiences.
• Partner with compliance and risk stakeholders to align product delivery with regulatory and reporting needs.
• Assess solution architectures and call gaps based on deep knowledge of high-scale mobile and backend systems.
• Drive integration of backend services with iOS and Android applications, including app store delivery considerations.
• Establish metrics for volume, performance, and reliability, and report progress to leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery with engineering, design, and QA within a pod model.
• Prioritize work based on user impact, risk, and technical feasibility.
• Mentor product managers on best practices in technical product management.

• Technical product management experience in fintech or adjacent high-volume consumer applications.
• Background with mobile ecosystems for iOS and Android and related deployment pipelines.
• Experience integrating backend systems with mobile applications at scale.
• Familiarity with compliance, oversight, and performance reporting in regulated environments.
• Brokerage or wealth product domain experience preferred.
• Ability to articulate architectural trade-offs and review solution designs.
• Experience working in or with technology hubs such as New York or Silicon Valley.
• Strong visual storytelling skills for roadmaps and product narratives.
