We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Packers to join our manufacturing team in Surgoinsville, TN. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable schedule and long-term career potential. Job Responsibilities
- Pack finished products according to company quality and packaging standards.
- Inspect products for defects before packaging.
- Measure products accurately using a tape measure.
- Label, sort, and prepare products for shipping.
- Assemble boxes and other packaging materials as needed.
- Maintain production goals while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other production and packaging duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to stand for the entire 12-hour shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then alternate)
- Overtime may be available based on production needs.
