Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Cardington, OH

A community health center pharmacy in the Cardington, OH area is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist for vacation coverage from Monday, 6/22 through Friday, 6/26. This position offers an opportunity to apply retail pharmacy expertise in a supportive environment with a strong pharmacy technician team.


Location:

• Cardington, OH (approximately 1 hour north of Columbus, OH)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to deliver quality patient care
• Utilize pharmacy systems, preferably Rx30, for prescription processing and inventory management

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in retail pharmacy is required
• Experience in FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) or 340B program settings is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with the Rx30 pharmacy system is a plus

Requirements:

• Must hold an active Ohio Pharmacy License
• Ability to work the specified shifts during the coverage week

• Travel may be required for candidates located more than 75 miles away; travel expenses such as mileage and meals will be compensated, and lodging will be arranged as needed
