Transit Service and Operations Analyst

support planning, analysis, and performance management of Arlington County's transit services. collaborate with planners, operations staff, and external stakeholders to analyze service performance; develop data-informed recommendations; support initiatives that improve transit reliability, efficiency, and customer experience. Requirements Bachelor's degree in transportation, urban planning, logistics, public administration, business administration, or a related field; Considerable experience supporting transit, transportation, or service analysis, planning, or operations. Additional qualifying experience can be substituted for the educational requirement. A Master's degree or higher may be substituted for some of the experience requirement. Preference may be given to applicants that possess experience or licensure in one or more of the following: Transit service planning, operations analysis, or performance measurement; Preparing reports, maps, or presentations for planning or public engagement purposes; Analyzing and visualizing data using spreadsheets, databases, or GIS tools; Knowledge of regional transit systems or local government operations; Managing multiple priorities and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders; A current valid Driver's License.
