Quick Facts Location: Rockville, MD Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 03/08/2027 Shift: Monday - Friday, Days 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. + after-hours call (including weekends) Hours/Week: Approx. 40-50 hours Employment: Locum Tenens License & Certs: Maryland medical license, DEA, CSR, Board Certification in Interventional Radiology Experience: Minimum required; credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $4,680.00 Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Competitive pay differentials for after-hours and holiday shifts Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in compliance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Paid licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team supporting your success What You’ll Do Provide outpatient and inpatient interventional radiology services, including vascular access, joint aspirations, lumbar punctures, and thyroid biopsies Perform vascular ultrasounds (excluding venous and carotids) and advanced CTA imaging Conduct vein mapping, dialysis graft procedures, and specialty consults Read remote vascular and CTA studies (less than 10% of workload) Participate in after-hours call coverage, responding within 15 minutes and performing procedures within 60 minutes as needed Cover hospital and outpatient center procedures, approximately 10-15 per day in hospital, 8-13 in outpatient setting Float between various locations within the region as required Support coverage during holidays and weekends, including night shifts What You Need Board Certification in Interventional Radiology State medical license for Maryland (willing to license) DEA and CSR required Minimum experience: Confirmation during credentialing process Ability to perform a range of interventional procedures with a high standard of patient care Strong communication skills and ability to respond promptly to emergencies About the Assignment This full-time locum assignment involves providing high-quality interventional radiology services at a leading facility in Rockville, Maryland.
