Radiologic Technologist, Clinic Float

Responsibilities Performs high-quality radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment. Work Schedule 1.0 FTE – Monday to Friday, day hours varying between 7 am–6:30 pm, most ending at 5:00 pm. Shift lengths vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours depending on the location. In a two‑week pay period, 1–2 shifts will be evening hours ending at 8/8:30 pm. Weekend rotation is one weekend every 8 weeks, with two days off the following week. This technologist is required to float through a minimum of 8 clinic locations. Floats get paid an incentive hourly rate due to a flexible schedule. Required Qualifications Must hold current ARRT license. Must maintain current CPR skills. Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to problem‑solve and use independent judgment. Strong interpersonal and team‑building skills. Demonstrates knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Proven proficiency in operation of PC (including e‑mail), printer, telephone, fax, photocopier, modality imaging devices, processors, positioning tables, ID camera, densitometer, Sensiotometer, and film duplicator. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience.
