Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy.
- Lead and direct physical therapy services, ensuring top-notch patient care.
- Coordinate and supervise department operations, making a meaningful impact on patient rehabilitation.
- Engage in performance improvement activities and participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives.
- Assist in budget formulation and evaluation, ensuring efficient department performance.
- Develop and implement a system for reviewing department charges, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory laws and standards to guarantee patient safety and quality care.


Position Qualifications:


- 3 or more years of physical therapy experience preferred.
- Current state licensure or certification as a physical therapist.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
- In-depth understanding of disease processes, rehabilitation benefits, and relevant procedures.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with accountability and respect for fellow staff members.

Position Responsibilities:


- Demonstrate professional behavior and foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
- Compile and organize data effectively using Microsoft Office Applications.
- Maintain accurate records and provide immediate access upon request.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully within the organization.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of diverse patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
- Formulate teaching plans based on patient needs, including family involvement.
- Ensure optimal patient care while prioritizing safety and minimizing errors.
- Manage equipment safely and maintain a clean, functional department environment.
- Collaborate with various departments for improved patient care and performance.
- Stay updated on current trends in rehabilitative medicine.
- Exhibit flexibility and composure in stressful situations, ensuring effective crisis management.

- Complete annual education requirements as applicable.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
