Account Executive

Monocle Talent

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new customer opportunities. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through quoting, proposal, and close—while working cross-functionally with sourcing, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver winning packaging solutions. This position is ideal for a consultative seller who understands packaging, manufacturing, or supply-chain–driven sales and can translate customer needs into actionable RFQs and solutions. Key Responsibilities New Business Development Prospect and develop new customer relationships with brands requiring packaging solutions. Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery calls, needs analysis, proposal development, and contract negotiation. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Continually hit KPIs and Quotas month over month. Customer Discovery & Solution Selling Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer packaging requirements, volumes, timelines, and constraints. Collaborate with internal sourcing and supply chain teams to develop competitive, scalable packaging solutions. Present proposals that clearly articulate value around cost, lead time, quality, and service. Translate customer requirements into clear RFQ inputs for internal sourcing teams. Partner with sourcing and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing, lead times, and specifications. Manage customer expectations throughout the quoting and decision-making process. Account Ownership & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Maintain strong relationships with customers post-close to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell or expansion opportunities. Proactively communicate on timelines, changes, and next steps. Stay informed on packaging trends, materials, sustainability initiatives, and market pricing. Provide feedback to leadership on customer needs, competitor activity, and market opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
