Public Finance Associate
BCG Attorney Search
Job Overview A law firm seeks a Public Finance Associate in Buffalo, New York, or Rochester, New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in public finance law and a strong ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Duties Assist with public finance transactions, including bond issuances and municipal financings. Draft and review transaction documents such as offering documents and bond resolutions. Conduct legal research and due diligence related to tax and securities law. Support closings and coordinate with underwriters and financial advisors. Prepare closing and post-closing documents and maintain transaction files. Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials. Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other practice areas. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) Certifications Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction Skills Experience in public finance transactions and economic development projects. Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
