JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Senior SAP Fiori Developer

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Long term

Primary Tasks:

Designing and building applications consistent with the SAP Fiori Application Architecture, including SAP application templates (e.g.: Worklist, Master-Detail), Smart Controls, Smart Templates, Fragments and Themes.
Implementing standard Fiori applications (transactional, factsheet and analytical) and enhancing standard applications using enhancement framework.
Designing & modeling OData services using the Gateway Service Builder.
Fielding applications within existing application Launchpad environments.
Incorporating Dynamic UI content creation to ensure construction of responsive UI5 applications, smooth cross-application navigation & integration, and integration of multiple OData services into a single UI5 application
Implementation of SAP ABAP software applications and interfaces within SAP NetWeaver instances
Developing, testing, debugging, implementing, maintaining and documenting ABAP code used in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows) objects on an ECC 6.0 System.

Providing optimization, enhancement and O&M support for ABAP applications which perform financial and business management functions on Client SAP (ECC, SAP Portal, etc.) instances and external systems.
Participate in the analysis of the customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements, and assist in level of effort (LOE) estimation if required.

Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents
Conducting unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality
Supporting end-users Acceptance Testing activities

Participate in Production Operations and Release Management support.

Work Experience / Skills & Competencies:

Experience with SAP Fiori or other web User Interface technologies (e.g.: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Web IDE)
Experience using SAP UI5 related technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
Deep understanding of browser debugging tools for all latest browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox and Safari)
Experience supporting UI5 applications on various desktop and mobile platforms.
Experience with development tools like Web IDE and SAPUI5 tools for eclipse
Experience working with RESTful APIs (e.g.: OData) and SAP Gateway
Experience developing software in SAP NetWeaver ABAP Stack environments using:
-ABAP Objects, and ABAP Reports.
Experience with the SAP ABAP Data Dictionary and other SAP repository objects
Effective code optimization, program performance analysis and tuning experience
Knowledge of SAP ASAP methodology
Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
Ability to work individually (self-motivated) and within a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively with:
Management - "providing status information, suggesting corrective actions, and taking direction when decisions are made.
Diverse customer organizations - "accepting guidance and feedback on requirements and deliverables"
Desired minimum 10 years overall experience; 5 years of relevant SAP experience

Desired Qualifications:

SAP Certified Associate - SAP Fiori Application Developer (C_FIORD_2404).
Building or extending Java applications in SAP S/4HANA, BTP, ECC is a plus
Ability to develop custom Java Applications is a plus
SAP Certification in one or more of the following disciplines
ABAP Development and Maintenance
Experience as an SAP BTP Application Developer and willing to learn and advance your career in BTP space.
Advanced knowledge of programming with languages like Java or JavaScript, Node.js, and knowledge of Python is a plus.
Experience S/4HANA and BTP use case adoption.
Good knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, XML, SFTP, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), ABAP, BIB, ALE, BAPI, RFC, IDOC, ODATA, and/or SOAP/REST, and Process Integration.
Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Project implementations.
BS/BA Degree.
