Benefits Specialist and Account Coordinator

Confidential Search Solutions (CSS) is conducting a search on behalf of a well-established boutique insurance agency in San Antonio, Texas, seeking an Account Coordinator to support its Employee Benefits team.
The Account Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to Account Managers, ensuring exceptional client service and smooth day-to-day account management. This role assists with benefits administration, carrier coordination, renewals, employee communications, enrollment activities, and benefits system management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers with servicing employee benefits clients.
- Assist with renewals, carrier quote requests, and proposal comparisons.
- Maintain benefit plans and employer groups within Employee Navigator.
- Coordinate open enrollment activities, employee communications, and benefit changes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, enrollment materials, and client documentation.
- Track service requests and ensure timely completion of client deliverables.
- Support carrier implementations and enrollment file submissions.
- Maintain organized client records and ensure compliance-related documentation is up to date.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of employee benefits, insurance, HR, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience with Employee Navigator strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Texas General Lines Life, Accident & Health License preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
