Contract Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Work Location: Irving, TX 75038
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the reliable operation of building systems, facilities, machinery, and equipment. This is an entry-level maintenance role that works under direct supervision and focuses on performing scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and facility-related issues and perform corrective repairs.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support building and facilities maintenance projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate and work with external contractors when necessary to complete maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
Required Experience
- 1-3 years of maintenance, facilities, or related technical experience preferred.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
- Basic troubleshooting and repair experience within mechanical and/or electrical environments.
