As Echostar scales and optimizes its People Analytics function, this role bridges the gap between complex people data and overarching business strategy. The position focuses on developing processes, procedures, and data pipelines to convert raw HR metrics into clear visual stories. Through actionable analytics, leadership gains the visibility needed to solve critical workforce challenges, elevate employee engagement, and drive sustained business growth.What Success Looks Like (Objectives):Design seamless integrations between standard HR systems and the cloud Snowflake environment; partner directly with the team on database architecture requirementsDevelop and maintain robust data objects that power Python and Tableau product suites, providing actionable workforce insightsDrive department goals by creating impactful analytical solutions that resolve complex, unique business challengesLeverage AI-driven automation tools to streamline the cleaning and manipulation of large datasets, accelerating data mart scaling and efficiencyConsult with HR Business Partners and executive leaders to translate raw metrics into strategic recommendations that advance company OKRsSkills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):Deep expertise in data integration, pipeline architecture, ETL processes, and complex data warehousing strategyStrong analytical problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities to address broad business challengesDemonstrated experience using AI application tools to enhance data processing speed and accuracyExcellent cross-functional collaboration and consultation skills to guide leadership on data-driven solutionsCritical experience presenting complex analytical insights directly to executive leadershipProven ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple high-stakes data projects simultaneouslyAdditional Qualifications:Relevant industry certifications in HR, Data Science, Computer Science, or Data EngineeringManagement consulting experience supporting high-growth technology organizationsMinimum Requirements:Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Minimum Experience: 5 years of analytics-related experience and 2 years of experience presenting to executive leadershipRequired Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:Advanced SQL codingTableau and/or AlteryxProgramming languages such as Python, R, or SASVisa sponsorship not available for this positionSalary RangesCompensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
