About the Position

Our client in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment beginning Apr 5, 2027. This role involves a Monday through Thursday schedule from 9am-5pm, and a Friday shift from 9am-12pm. The Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventative services, chronic disease management, and addressing simple acute care concerns.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient primary care services
  • Conduct preventative care examinations
  • Manage chronic care conditions
  • Perform sports physicals
  • Treat various infections
  • Address simple acute care concerns; urgent care level cases are referred to a local hospital
  • Manage patient referrals
  • Order and interpret laboratory results
  • Conduct 30-minute patient appointments

Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine required
  • Practice utilizes RPMS EMR
  • This is an outpatient primary care clinic setting
