Field Technical Support Specialist

Salary: $112,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a secret security clearance and the role is contingent upon contract award.
• We need experience supporting Army Total Package Fielding (TPF) activities, including New Equipment Fielding (NEF), New Equipment Training (NET), Platform Integration (PI), and Technical Field Support.
• We require hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic and mechanical systems.
• We need proficiency with Android and Windows operating systems, as well as data entry tools and applications.
• We require knowledge of databases, networking fundamentals, and system connectivity.
• We need familiarity with biometric technologies, including fingerprint, iris, facial, and voice modalities.
• We require strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
• We need the ability to work independently in both garrison and field settings.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills.
• We prefer experience supporting BCC systems or similar military biometric collection platforms.
• We prefer field support and technical training experience in military environments.
• We prefer familiarity with government regulations and standards governing biometric data collection and management.
• We prefer the ability to travel frequently in support of CONUS and OCONUS operations.
• We require a bachelors degree in a relevant field, or two additional years of relevant experience.
• We require five years of relevant technical support experience.

• We install and configure BCC devices at military installations and operational sites, including mobile and fixed systems.
• We support Army Total Package Fielding efforts, including NEF, NET, PI, and Technical Field Support.
• We perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on biometric hardware and software to maintain peak performance and availability.
• We provide ongoing technical assistance to users and stakeholders, resolving issues and ensuring reliable operation of BCC equipment.
• We deliver user training on the operation, upkeep, and proper use of biometric collection devices and related software.
• We assist with collecting, processing, and managing biometric data while protecting quality, integrity, and compliance with applicable standards.
• We maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance actions, repairs, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• We support system testing, verification, and operational readiness activities as needed.
• We coordinate with government personnel, field technicians, and program stakeholders to support deployment and sustainment efforts.
• We travel to military and field locations as required to provide installation, maintenance, training, and technical support.
• We follow our AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• We perform other duties as assigned.
