Marketing Specialist – CRM Direct Mail Oak Brook, IL – Ace Hardware Corporation About This Role This role is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of Ace Rewards direct mail channel, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver error‑free mailers to the Ace Rewards members. Responsibilities Assist the Ace Marketing Manager in managing the direct mail creative and print process for over 100M/year. Contribute to campaign strategy planning, writing creative briefs, refining creative, obtaining final approval, and proofing creative and barcodes. Execute assigned campaigns such as Targeted Offer, Earned Rewards, Birthday, New Member, New Mover, and Premier. Plan and execute direct mail tests with AMM for program refinement. Manage barcode creation, maintain spreadsheets, and submit new requests to PromoSystems. Create direct mail Promo IDs and record them in the monthly Execution Guide. Manage Ace Rewards Exclusives and other promotions flowing through the direct mail channel. Perform monthly billing functions including cost pulls and internal tracking spreadsheet entries. Assist with Ace Rewards signage inventory updates in accordance with brand guidelines. Support monthly reporting, vendor meetings, ad‑hoc requests, and respond to internal/external inquiries. Support the team on ad‑hoc projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline. Minimum of 1 year of Marketing or Customer Service experience. Attention to detail, ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly. Experience working cross‑functionally with teams, departments, and retailers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Previous direct mail experience is a plus. Compensation $65,000 – $81,000 per year. Benefits Incentive opportunities based on role/grade level.
