Facility:
This medical center operates an extremely busy obstetrics department with approximately 6,000 births annually. The facility features a 24-bed department with comprehensive maternal care services, including 3 employed OB hospitalists, 19 community OB/GYN physicians, two MFM groups, and 17 certified nurse midwives who provide delivery services in both the alongside Midwifery Center and Labor & Delivery units.

Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:
• Night shift coverage from with approximately 5 shifts per month
• Handle 6-24 patient encounters per shift in this high-volume practice
• Provide in-house OB hospitalist coverage for busy obstetrics department
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies with comprehensive delivery services
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal births, cesarean sections, breech deliveries, and multiple births
• Handle pregnancy complications including abruptions and VBACs
• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE monitoring
• Perform Level I ultrasounds (screening/viability) with Level II capabilities preferred
• Provide decision-making for cesarean sections and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Board certification required with clean NPDB, malpractice, and background check
• ACLS certification required
• Active Arizona medical license required
• Medical Director prefers providers traveling from no further east than ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX
• 30-day credentialing timeframe

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
