Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. We are currently looking to staff a Part-Time weekend shift in Columbia. Available every Saturday-Sunday from 7:00 AM-10:00 PM . Must have experience with Parkinson's patients, safe transfers, and assisting with showers
Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
- Male caregiver preferred

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
-Walk with the client (Exercise)
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation


Compensation: $23.00 per hour
