General Job Description DealRoom is seeking a driven, customer-focused Scaled Account Manager who embodies our corporate values: Own It, Deliver the Wow, Be Kind & Direct. This individual will manage a large portfolio of customers, own renewals across their book of business, and help build the future of DealRoom's scaled customer engagement model. Our growth encompasses both DealRoom's software solutions and the M&A Science Podcast, which recently celebrated its 300th podcast episode! Core Responsibilities: Own the renewal process for a portfolio of customers, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to maximize retention. Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted partner throughout the customer lifecycle. Conduct customer check-ins, business reviews, and value-driven conversations that increase adoption and customer satisfaction. Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with Customer Success leadership to drive growth. Manage a high-volume portfolio through a combination of personalized outreach and scalable customer engagement programs. Maintain accurate renewal forecasts, account data, and customer insights within Salesforce and other internal systems. Develop expertise in DealRoom's platform, M&A workflows, and customer best practices. Partner closely with Product, Solutions Delivery, and Revenue teams to advocate for customer needs and improve outcomes. Contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, customer communications, automation initiatives, and operational improvements. Who you are: Required Qualifications You have 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, Consulting, Customer Support, or Business Development. You are highly organized and can effectively manage high volumes of work and multiple competing priorities. You are comfortable owning business outcomes and being accountable for performance metrics. You are an excellent communicator who can build trust and credibility with customers. You are naturally curious and enjoy becoming an expert in new products, industries, and business challenges. You are proactive, resourceful, and willing to figure things out when answers are not immediately available. You enjoy improving processes and finding scalable solutions to recurring challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments and value teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in SaaS. Exposure to customer renewals, retention, or account management. Experience supporting business, finance, consulting, or project management professionals. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms. Interest in M&A, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Financial Technology.
