Charge Registered Nurse (RN) The Charge RN is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care, working collaboratively with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Charge RN serves as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff. Qualifications RN license in the state you are applying Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment (ACLS is required from day one for all Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU). Let us help you get your ACLS! Experience One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
