Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, providing small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, mentoring students to build social-emotional skills, and supporting classroom instruction. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team to track progress, create positive learning environments, and run enrichment activities. City Year’s inclusive culture emphasizes social justice, leadership development, and professional growth through ongoing training and coaching.
