Hale Street is Beverly Farms' lively neighborhood tavern: a come-as-you-are gathering place where the bar is buzzing, oysters are being shucked, wings are hitting the table and regulars always have a reason to stay for another round. We serve oysters, sushi and tavern favorites without taking ourselves too seriously. Good food. Good people. Plenty of energy.

We are looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead the team, own the guest experience and run a disciplined, profitable operation that still feels unmistakably Hale. You will set the tone on the floor: friendly, quick, confident and fun.

What you will own:

• Lead daily front-of-house and overall restaurant operations, with a visible presence during peak service.
• Build, coach and retain a strong team; set clear standards, give useful feedback and recognize great work.
• Protect a lively, welcoming guest experience for regulars, first-time visitors and game-day crowds alike.
• Drive sales through excellent execution, and events that give guests a reason to come back.
• Partner with the culinary team to deliver consistent food quality, timing and presentation across oysters, sushi and tavern favorites.
• Own scheduling, labor planning, inventory controls, purchasing and day-to-day cost management.
• Review operating results and take action on sales, labor, food and beverage cost, guest feedback and team performance.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, alcohol service and compliance with applicable health and employment requirements.
• Handle guest concerns with good judgment, warmth and urgency.
• Keep communication clear across shifts and departments so the restaurant feels organized even when the room is loud and full.

What we offer:

• $80,000 – $90,000 DOE

Requirements:

• Restaurant general management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• A proven ability to lead, coach and hold teams accountable while creating a workplace people want to be part of.
• Working knowledge of restaurant financials, including labor, cost of goods, inventory and profit-and-loss performance.
• Strong floor instincts and genuine hospitality. You notice the details without losing the energy of the room.
• Calm, decisive leadership during busy services and the flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business requires.
• Clear communication, sound judgment and follow-through.
• Knowledge of restaurant point-of-sale, scheduling, inventory and reporting systems.
