Attributes KPTS is looking for in future team members * Finds joy in working with children * Demonstrates professionalism and positivity * Cultivates and nurtures relationships * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Eagerness to expand your skill set and professional knowledge * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work in a fast paced and physically active environment * Acclimates quickly to changes * Goal oriented and strives to meet targets Qualifications * Current state licensure in Illinois as a Licensed Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities: * Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based occupational therapy, using play, to children in both our clinic and in community settings. * Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to treat the "whole child" and not just their symptoms. * Document treatments, evaluations and plan of care using professional jargon that supports skilled therapeutic necessity in a concise and timely manner. * Submits accurate billing charges in a timely manner * Upholds the reputation of the company by maintaining a professional demeanor and provides quality care to all clients. * Sets and Works towards meeting personal and clinic goals * Contribute to a team-oriented environment, learning from and sharing expertise and strategies with colleagues. * Genuine promotion of the company in the community
