Job Overview A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Resource Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on enhancing marketing and business development efforts, strengthening the creation and sharing of substantive know-how, and enabling practicing attorneys to be more informed, efficient, and successful. Duties Stay current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Capital Markets practice group. Develop topics for and assist in preparing client alerts, white papers, and external-facing tools. Maintain internal practice resources to enhance know-how exchange within the practice group. Create and update archives of work product and know-how. Coordinate speaking arrangements, webinars, and materials. Maintain and update forms and templates to reflect current legal developments. Collaborate with Marketing to enhance the Capital Markets branding and presence. Provide information to assist Marketing with RFPs and business development opportunities. Coordinate with Professional Development to enhance skills development and training. Work with Information Services to assess and adopt new technologies for efficiency. Requirements Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets transactions. Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in good standing. Skills Mastery of capital markets practice with enthusiasm for evolving practices. Team player with knowledge of technology and life sciences industries. Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills. Confident and engaging presenter. Strong intellectual ability, judgment, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with organizational and time management skills. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
