Data Center Technician

Salary: $78,000 - 118,000 per year Requirements:

• Willingness to travel locally up to 40%, with occasional trips beyond the region
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including after-hours support when needed
• Comfortable walking job sites, including uneven terrain
• Ability to work safely at heights and on ladders
• Capacity to stand and complete tasks for a full 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, with group lifting for heavier items

• Install servers and network equipment on a daily basis, while supporting structured cabling and capacity needs
• Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling, including patch panels and patch cords
• Make sure data center work follows established installation standards and best practices
• Share project and task updates through our ticketing system, status reports, email, and Slack
• Manage and prioritize work in the ticketing system to support customer requests and project objectives
• Document issues, processes, and changes accurately to keep our data center records organized and current
