Key Responsibilities: Child-Centered Care: Perform gentle and thorough dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants for infants, children, and adolescents. Patient Education: Teach children and parents about proper oral hygiene and nutrition in an engaging, age-appropriate way (using the "Tell-Show-Do" method). Diagnostic Support: Take high-quality digital X-rays and assist the dentist with comprehensive exams and charting. Comfort & Safety: Create a fun, anxiety-free environment for patients. Help manage behavior and provide "dental bravery" encouragement. Clinical Excellence: Maintain strict sterilization protocols and ensure all treatment rooms are prepared for the day's adventures. What We’re Looking For: Licensure: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey. The "Vibe": A warm, upbeat personality with the ability to remain calm and professional, even when a patient is nervous or wiggly. Communication: Strong ability to connect with parents and explain clinical needs clearly.
