Sanitation / Janitorial Associate (Nightshift)

POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for cleaning, sanitation, and grounds appearance of all buildings and facilities. Maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient cleaning operation. Being a Janitorial Associate, you will need to be a working team member that will coordinate with the Janitorial Supervisor to maintain a clean and safe facility for all employees and customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried products; recoups damages and reports to Inventory Control to determine resale ability or proper disposal.Checking freezer and cooler for leaks or ice buildup remove as necessary.Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, daily sanitation log, spillages, product damage, for evaluation of planning and sanitation activities.Cleaning other areas of the warehouse and offices including but not limited to, breakrooms, restrooms, test kitchen, and closets.Maintain facility grounds cleanliness including but not limited to; dumpster area, parking lots, and sidewalks weekly or as needed to maintain appearance.Understand and comply with all applicable company policies.Perform other duties as directed by SupervisorEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:HS Diploma or equivalent,Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.Must have very strong urgency in meeting objectives and deadlines.Requires the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.Ability to complete tasks under standardized situations with occasional variables.Physical Requirements:Physical ability to lift, carry, and position: up to 20 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 80 lbs. occasionally.Must be able to constantly bend, reach above shoulder, grasp objects, climb, kneel, squat, twist and stand throughout shift.Must be able to push/pull up to 150 lbs. occasionallyConfident and comfortable operating equipment at heights up to 30 feetRegularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.Working in multiple environments including office and ambient refrigeration and freezer areasWork Environment:Work hours may vary, or change based on department requirements.The job is primarily performed in a warehouse environmentRegularly exposed to fast moving material handling and other mechanical equipment.Occasionally exposed to wet and or humid conditions, high and precarious places, vehicle emissions, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions and high voltage electrical equipment.The noise level in the work environment is typically low. #J-18808-Ljbffr A F Wendling Inc
