• Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting; oncology experience preferred but not required
• Certifications: BLS required; ONS Chemo preferred
• Licensure: Must hold active RN license in Ohio or appropriate state

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with solid tumor cancers, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers
• Monitor and interpret telemetry to ensure patient safety and identify early signs of deterioration
• Administer chemotherapy and related oncology treatments according to protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient assessment and care planning
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (EPIC) system
• Support infection prevention and fall prevention protocols
• Assist with patient transitions through cancer journey stages, from diagnosis to end-of-life care
• Float to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units as needed

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Ohio or applicable state
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong telemetry skills and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Current BLS certification; ONS Chemo certification preferred
• Ability to self-schedule and adapt to unit needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:

This role is based in a comprehensive oncology unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with various solid tumor cancers. The unit emphasizes infection control, patient safety, and quality caring practices. The successful candidate will work night shifts (19:00 – 07:30) and contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to patient-centered oncology care.
