Join Our Team as an Educator & Program Assistant!
Do you love plants, people, and making learning fun? Join our Learning & Interpretation Team and help inspire visitors of all ages through hands-on experiences, tours, camps, story times, workshops, outreach programs, and family events.
What You'll Do
Lead engaging educational programs onsite and throughout the community
Share your love of plants through tours, activities, and learning stations
Create memorable experiences for kids, families, and lifelong learners
Help care for educational plant collections and prepare program materials
Work alongside an amazing team and enthusiastic volunteers

We're Looking For Someone Who
Loves teaching and connecting with people
Has a passion for plants, nature, or environmental education
Enjoys public speaking and hands-on learning
Is energetic, reliable, organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed

Qualifications
Working toward or have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, museum studies, natural sciences, or a related field, plus at least one year of education or museum experience (internships count!)

Schedule
Part-time with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events are part of the adventure.
